Where Does Love Go / Tomorrow After Tomorrow (1965)
In 1965 Roger Moore and his then wife, Luisa, recorded two songs which were later released thru CBS as a 45'' vinyl single sold in a nice picture sleeve - Where Does Love Go (A-side) was a cover tune whereas Tomorrow After Tomorrow (B-side) came as an original composition written by Roger and Luisa. It's one of the very few recordings of Sir Roger singing, or actually reciting the words, accompanied by the background music.
Although it is remembered that the single didn't get much air time when it was originally released, and thus didn't become a huge hit, it has however reached top 40 in the UK. We have found out that on Dec 5, 1965 Where Does Love Go hit the charts on 29th place. That's probably when it premiered in the UK.
The single is now considered a very rare and precious collective item amongst the Roger Moore fans. It can be found sometimes on eBay auctions, but not too often. If you have any information about the single that you would like to share with us, please let us know.
And here's a bit from the Daily Mail from 10th November 1965 entitled Saint's Song: Roger Moore has recorded a song called "Where Does Love Go?", an old Charles Boyer number. He speaks it. Why not sing? Mr Moore said yesterday: 'I didn't want to inflict that on the public.'

THE LYRICS
Where Does Love Go
If the heart is the place where love comes from,
Then where does love go when it dies?
Back to the heart where it came from,
or turn into tears in the eyes?
But even if one knows the answer,
what would one possibly gain?
Would the knowledge of where love had gone to,
Ease the heartache and the pain?
Love, love what is this feeling,
Why is it born if only to die,
And when it leaves you,
what stays inside?
The pain of heart broken and the tears in your eyes
- chorus, sung by female group
Why is it one cannot quite realise,
what a blessing a true love can be?
Must one lose love to know it is priceless?
Must one be blind before one can see?
Our love, where does it go when it leaves us?
This question will always remain.
For we can never know the answer,
until we find love once again.
Chorus again
Tomorrow After Tomorrow
For tomorrow after tomorrow I will still love you
For tomorrow after tomorrow our love will still be true
For days may come, and days may go,
But there's one thing I shall always know,
That tomorrow after tomorrow I will still love you
Loving you, loving you, yes my darling just loving you
- chorus sung by female group
When tomorrow comes I shall say,
Just as I did yesterday,
That tomorrow after tomorrow I will still feel this way
For days may come and days may go
But there's one thing I shall always know,
That tomorrow after tomorrow I will still love you
Chorus again
